Katelyn Barhorst is a graduate of The Ohio State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Consumer and Family Financial Services, graduating Magna cum laude. With seven years of customer service experience and a background in human capital management at the Department of Taxation, she has developed strong communication and organizational skills that help her support clients throughout their financial planning journey.

She was drawn to John E. Sestina and Company because of its 60-year legacy as a family-owned firm, its fee-only, comprehensive financial planning approach, and its commitment to always putting clients’ best interests first.

Katelyn is currently preparing to designate as a Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ (FPQP®) as part of her professional development. She is also working toward earning her Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in the future.
